Biography

Andy Bradshaw

Andy Bradshaw has been a photographer for nearly twenty years and has had his work published world-wide.

He spent much of his career working as a professional in the music business. As a result, he has photographed some of the world’s biggest stars, in the studio, on location or on stage.

Like many photographers he has also shot weddings, portraits and the other stock in trade pictures people need. He is as at home working in film or digital and, as he puts it “enjoys fiddling around with pixels in post production”.

Today however, Andy works within the press, commercial and bespoke markets, preferring to work to a creative brief..

He says that this brings a unique set of challenges and a great deal of satisfaction in meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations.

PSI Photography has as it’s logo an eye, which of course represents vision. PSI (standing for Perfect Symmetry Imaging) is also a term used to describe intuitive insight. And that coincidentally, is also what is needed for any good photographer.

It is that insight and intuition which can turn thoughts and ideas into photographs which communicate truth, power and beauty.

About The Site

The pictures on this site have been chosen to represent a body of work and demonstrate a range of styles and subject matter.

As with all photography, whether you respond to the images is entirely a matter of personal preference. It’s rather like food: one meal may not to be your taste, but it doesn’t mean that the chef couldn’t cook you something you would love. Photography is no different, which is why a great deal of care and consideration is given to both your expectatons and your brief.

It is this proactive and client-focussed approach that distinguishes PSI Photography and affords the client peace of mind whenever important photographs need to be taken.

These pictures are taken from a stock of thousands of images - particularly from the music business. But it is also worth noting that over 60% of the photographs on this site were taken in the last year and are included in the interests of keeping the site representative of current work.

Andy regrets the necessity of watermarking each of the larger images in the galleries, but hopes it is understood that maintaining copyright on the internet is hard but vitally important.

Being a seasoned photo-editor, the watermarks have been placed in areas of pictures where it would be most difficult to remove the watermark, without it either ruining the integrity of the image or making it obvious that it had been tampered with  - but hopefully without ruining enjoyment of the photograph.

Each image has been reduced in resolution in the interests of download speed.
